The goal of the Maui ESG Investment Project is for Maui to become a living model, financial center and educational leader for the advancement of ESG integration and impact investing in Hawaii, the Pacific region and globally, while driving capital investment into Maui and the state of Hawaii in ways that are sustainable, and socially and environmentally beneficial.

The Maui Project is helping to organize The Ahupua`a Summit Presented at University of Hawaii Maui College January 31 and February 1, 2020. The Ahupua`a Investment Project will host a two-day outcomes-oriented Summit, where 100 investors and ESG/impact leaders, including pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, foundations, endowments, private equity and venture capital managers, and real asset managers will come together with community members to develop the key components of a blueprint and 3rd Party Ahupua`a Beneficial Audit for next generation ESG Impact investing.
